You all probably know by now what is acne and acne marks so, I will not ramble on it for ages but will definitely give you some brief information. It is definitely not to bore you but to give you a better understanding about the working of these products. Basically, in most people, acne is genetically inherited, although it also gets aggravated due to the numerous pollutants present in our environment.
The formation of acne on the skin can tend to be quite irritating due to which we are forced to frequently touch the skin. And you probably might know that touching the acne every so often and trying to pop it results in acne marks, which are very difficult to get rid of.
Nevertheless, I have been using certain products for quite some time now and I can swear by them. I have incorporated them into my skincare routine, and I DEFINITELY want to say that I use them regularly, but I would be lying if I said so. Though keeping in my mind, I do try to use them consistently, but they do work for me even when I use them on alternate days.

I would say this ingredient is the most underrated thing in the skin industry. Mandelic acid is one of the main ingredients that helped me in clearing my acne when nothing else was working. This, as the name tells, is an acid but it is so gentle on the skin. It goes deep into your pores and fights all the bacteria causing gunk, helping in preventing future breakouts. I have oily skin so it didn’t dry my skin out but if you have dry skin then you might want to use it on alternate days and moisturize religiously when you are using it.
2. Ordinary’s Niacinamide:
So, you might have already heard about this before as nowadays all the influencers are raving about it. Seriously, this is the best product that I could ever come across. I tried so many things for clearing up my marks, but nothing was working until I tried this product. I started using Ordinary’s Niacinamide and I could see a difference in my skin texture and acne marks after I finished my first bottle. Though it claims that it also minimizes pores, but I think it worked more efficiently for me, in fading out my acne marks.
3. Kiehl’s Breakout control blemish treatment lotion:
The 3rd and the last ‘Holy Grail’ product that helped me in clearing my acne was the Kiehls Breakout Control Blemish Treatment Facial Lotion. WHOA! The name is definitely a mouth full but, but I guarantee that the product is worth buying. It is a little expensive but then again is definitely a great investment for your skin. Yet, I feel like, though it helped me in clearing my acne however when I stopped using it regularly then I would get some pimples here and there. Even though there are high chances that the problem might only be with my skin type, so I feel like the product is worth giving a try.
These are my ‘Top 3’ highly recommended products for acne and marks. Out of these if I have to recommend you one then I would definitely say that you buy the Ordinary’s Niacinamide.
